The personality that settled into him dug it's hooks in deep. For the first few days Argyle thought he could shake the feeling by sleeping and exercising but by day three he knew that wouldn't work. He could feel the personality like a ghost haunting his mind. It rummaged through his thoughts like a starving animal through a campsite. Then on day five it found what it wanted. Argyle felt his will fade and his trepidation vanish. He walked to his ship's console and plotted a new course. It was completely off course of his mission and would take a long time to get there but Argyle didn't care. A new feeling was rising in his mind. A feeling that was borrowed from his new ghost co-pilot. A feeling of determination and anger. Yep, it has its hooks in deep and in Argyle's experience there was only two things that feel the sharpness of hooks, the prey, and the bait and as far he knew there wasn't any prey around…yet.
